Pascal - Oliver Lüthi, (geb. 09.03.1986 in Langnau i.E, lebt in Bern) ist als Musiker und Tontechniker tätig. Er hatte klassischen Unterricht an Schlagzeug und Perkussion bei Walter S. Fankhauser und spielt seit der Schulzeit in verschiedenen Bands und komponiert für Tanz- und Theater Projekte. Seine Faszination für frühe 60er-Avantgarde, Tapemusik und elektroakustische Experimente führte zu seinem Alter Ego „Pascal Sontag“, unter welchem er seit 2018 Ambient- und Noisemusik veröffentlicht.

Pascal Sontag is the noisy alter ego of Pascal Lüthi, a musician based in Berne Switzerland. He's part of Cloks Tik and Lia sells Fish. His solo-works are mostly electronic, experimental and noisy. Influenced by early ambient and tape music. The two tracks on Aroe were performed and recorded on the isle of Aroe in Denmark April 2019. Program 1-8 on Feedback Rhythms are improvisations on the Jomox T-Resonator Filter Matrix and in 2021 he released "Out of water" - a noise/drone track for a dance performance of the same name by Nadine Lüthi and Sunita Asnani. In 2025 Pascal released moonwind surlej, an 18 Minute noise track made with the jomox moonwind filter tracker using all of the 999 noise sources on the device, performed and recorded live in surlej, switzerland. He recently contributed a track called "The biggest arms dealer in the world is your boss" to the "Take a bite of peach" compilation on the british label "industrial coast". Tensions 1 & 2 is a musical collaboration of Meret Siebenhaar and Pascal Sontag. They work with frictions between acoustic and electronic sounds, between human intuition and programmed randomness.
